C-License Drivers

Two of our regular clients at #One Recruitment are two of Ireland’s largest food service providers. Delivering food products across the entire island of Ireland, among these two market leaders there is always a constant demand for C-License drivers.

One of the issues constantly faced by these companies is the churn of drivers in what is a small but highly competitive candidate pool in Ireland. The shortage of qualified C License drivers with the correct documentation and registrations i.e. CPC Card, Digital Tachograph Card has meant that the high demand to fill these rolls was not being met. Time and resources being put into recruiting new drivers by these companies was still leaving them short with candidates to fulfil all the vacancies and subsequently, given the competitive nature of the market it was proving difficult holding onto the candidates.

At #One Recruitment, we took on board the difficulties that our clients were encountering during their own recruitment processes. Our solutions to counteracting the problems faced with recruiting C License drivers involve implementing our own processes, it allows us to build up a strong relationship with candidates before we send them over for interviews and assessments with our customers. We have assigned specific account managers to these C License roles that know exactly what kind of candidates are the ideal fit for these vacancies, not only in terms of qualifications and experience to be able to carry out the job properly, but personality types that will look for long term employment with these companies. Given the high demand for these types of candidates, we advertise these roles constantly for our customers and update these listings minimum twice weekly, ensuring that there is a consistent and constant inflow of potential candidates for us to screen.

#One Recruitment has ensured continuous placements of C-License drivers with these two clients in various locations around Ireland. Our screening processes have meant that employee churn has decreased significantly, which has subsequently lessened the strain on our clients.
