Head Of Sales, £70k - £80k/year, commission, pension, Belfast

We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Sales to join a busy sales team in a Belfast based office. 


Key responsibilities of the role

  • Deliver target sales mix as per business plan (sales numbers, margin, conversion, discount and cost per sale)
  • Evaluate people performance, and create coaching plans and performance plans to improve performance
  • Coach, mentor, support and lead management team through daily team huddles, monthly performance review meeting and personal development plans
  • Development across all the sales team from selection and recruitment through to talent management and succession planning
  • Deliver excellent communication, upwards and downwards, regarding Radius strategy spanning senior management through to salespeople.


The experience and skills that we are looking for include:

  • Minimum 5-years’ experience of managing telesales teams within a busy sales contact centre environment
  • Role model of exceptional behaviours in areas of personal character, commitment, selling skills and work habits
  • Understanding of process/performance improvement frameworks and how to deliver a culture of continuous improvement across sales teams
  • Ability to analyse campaign results in real-time, structure and present campaign outcomes, impacts and recommendations.
  • Extensive knowledge of Ofcom and other telemarketing compliance standards
