Head of Sales (Galway)

·Inbound phone enquiry’s
·Internal fuel referrals
·Various Partnerships
· Launching and Managing our Field Sales teams

Role Responsibilities:

Day to day management of the Channel sales team which includes 8+ sales agents and x1 Supervisor
·End to end management of the Inbound Sales Process
·Managing and leading the Irish Field Sales Team - A key element to the FY22 Sales plan
·Sign off responsibility for sourcing and submitting public/private tenders in line with the business plan
·Work with the Channel team in identifying and developing significant new partnerships in line with the business plan
·Maximizing existing partnership sales penetration levels in line with the business plan
·A very high level of personal activity in terms of Customer Visits and Field accompaniments
·Identifying and developing new channels within both the Inbound and Partnerships Sales
·Dynamically leading the sales department to achieve sales results as required by the business
·Working closely with all internal stakeholders to deliver a ‘best in class’ service
·Managing Value-added-Sale cross-selling opportunities to improve customer retention
·Creating Innovative solutions working alongside Marketing to acquire new customers
·Manage the operational element of the Recruitment and Selection process
·Design and Deliver best-in-class training programs for new start induction and agent development
·Create a roadmap for succession planning for future management and leadership development
·Work closely with marketing to drive a steady flow of leads into the operation through campaigns
·Develop scripts and visual aids to improve customer experience and sales result
·Create a compelling environment to support performance and retention of people

Essential role requirements:

· Highly presentable and dynamic with strong organizational and motivational skills
·Outstanding communication skills with the ability to operate at all levels internally and externally
·Ability to motivate, drive and develop a successful sales team
·A ‘can do’ positive attitude
·Strong negotiation skills
·Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines
·Burning ambition to progress within our customers senior leadership team

Required experience:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales Management
· Field Sales Management experience
·Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
·Full clean driving license



  • €50,000 basic salary 
  • Additional on target €20,000 bonus
  • Based in Galway City
