Field Sales Representative, €33,000 (Nationwide)

We are currently recruiting for a Field Sales Representative position for one of our customers. As a key member of the Fundraising Team this role is expected to make a significant contribution to the culture within the business. You will demonstrate initiatives to drive best practice and continuous improvement. A winning attitude combined with a sales-focused mindset is essential for success in this role. The focus of this role is to support our client by delivering exceptional sales donation levels through best in class planning, sales execution, compliance and reporting. As a Fundraising Ambassador on behalf of our charity partner you will live the values of Freedom, Integrity, Excellence & Respect and will support your team by example through your passion and commitment for the role. The base salary for this role is €33,000.

 

Salary: €33K - €35K per annum OTE

Responsibilities: 

- Manage a defined geographic territory fundraising directly to customers at their home
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets
- Provide accurate, on time daily reports on activity and sales
- Develop a detailed understanding of, and tightly manage, your customer territory
- Structured journey planning to maximise efficiency and volume of decision makers in the territory
- Work to the highest compliance levels set out by the company
- Ensure expert knowledge of your charity’s services and activities at all times
- Attention to detail completing applications accurately on behalf of the customer

 

Functional Responsibilities:

- Provide feedback and industry insight on an ongoing basis
- Maintain knowledge on all new and existing services and activities
- Represent the charity in a consistently professional manner
- Balance maximising donation level with customer affordability to give the best long term return for the charity
- Ensure all activities are completed compliantly and in accordance with training provided on internal and external compliance guidelines
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager
 


Qualifications:

- Experience in a field sales role is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Competent IT Skills. Be comfortable working with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook

- Full driving licence and own vehicle
- Passion for the Charity and its objective
- Accountability for performance and personal ownership of corrective measures
 

Desirable:

- F2F sales experience, ideally within the not for profit sector
- Understanding of the not for profit sector including fundraising practices and regulations
- Experience journey planning and territory management

Communication Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create and build positive - customer relationships
- Create trust through effective listening to verbal and non-verbal cues, reading body language and responding appropriately
- Strong story-telling skills which inspire potential donors to support the charity
