Business Development Manager, €32,000 (Kerry)

We are recruiting for Business Development Managers to drive sales acquisitions across the SME sector and promote our customers portfolio of products in the Kerry region. The successful candidate will be tenacious, extremely motivated and will have relevant experience in a sales environment with a proven, successful ability to sell. The salary for this role is up to €32,000.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

- Manage a defined geographic territory selling directly to SME (Small Medium Enterprise) and SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) customers
- Achieve and exceed agreed sale targets
- Develop a detailed understanding and tightly manage your customer pipeline
- Structured journey planning to maximise efficiency and volume of prospects in the territory
- Effective telephone appointment setting to make appointments each day in the field
- Face to face presentation calls to decision makers
- Generate referrals daily that secures a face to face presentation to a decision maker
- Work to the highest compliance levels set out by the company
- Attention to detail completing applications accurately on behalf of the customer


 

Functional Responsibilities:

- Provide competitor feedback and industry insight
- Maintain knowledge on all new and existing products and services from competitors
- Daily CRM updates to ensure all information is correct and accurate
- Ensure all activities are completed compliantly and in accordance with training provided on internal and external compliance guidelines
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager

 

Qualifications:

- Experience in a field sales role, in the Business and/or Utilities sector

- Competent IT Skills.

- Be comfortable working with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook


 

Essential:

- Full driving licence and own vehicle 
- Strong focus on results and achieving targets daily, weekly and monthly
- Work on own initiative and continually looking for ways to improve sales performance
- Positive mindset interacting with customer, colleagues and client
- Teamwork orientated individual able to share best practice and add to positive team dynamic
- Strong analysis and judgement skills to prioritise and focus on best opportunities

- Demonstrate a belief in the importance of the customer and a willingness to meet and exceed customer expectations


 

Desirable:

- F2F sales experience within the Telecoms market desirable
- Understanding of the telecoms market
- Awareness of the Irish Business Arena at local and national levels to maintain pipeline
- Experience with a CRM tool


 

Communication Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create and build positive customer relationships
- Strong written skills for preparing proposals to customers and feedback to management/client

Package:

• Up to €32,000 basic salary DOE

• €4,800 car allowance per annum 
• 50% performance bonus (Uncapped) structure
