#10138 - Personal Lines Broker, €25k - €40k, commission, Dublin 8

We are currently recruiting a personal lines broker based in Dublin 8 for a salary of €25k  €40k. 


The role will be offered on a hybrid basis. This role sits within the Business Insurance Division and will report to the Private Client Unit’s Team Leader. A Private Client Unit Executive is responsible for ensuring full compliance with procedures and the timely issuance and renewal of their book of business – ensuring that the renewal terms issued are in the best interests of the client and providing superior customer service. They are also responsible for the development of the book and the sale of personal insurance products.

  • Relevant knowledge of the market, including High Net Worth Products
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels
  • Knowledge of Relay is an advantage
  • Positively engage with other team members/ staff, insurers and clients at all times
  • Complete the appropriate annual CPD requirement and maintain Minimum Competency Code



Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensure the interests of clients and the integrity of the market is at the centre of the way you do business
  • Identify the needs and objectives of the client and provide best advice based on information gathered and research conducted
  • Treat clients fairly at all times

  • Only process and share data for the purpose for which it was given
  • Treat client data with the utmost respect and confidentiality
  • At all times, adhere to regulatory and legislative rules, codes, guidelines and all updates including:

  • Prudential Regulations
  • Money Laundering and Financial Sanctions Legislation




  • Ensure that renewals are processed correctly and issued within compliance time frames
  • Dealing with client enquiries and the administration of post
  • Dealing with new business enquiries
  • Dealing with Claims
  • Ensuring quality in relation to administration work and that insurers are meeting service level agreements, particularly in relation to policy issuing and accuracy of their paperwork
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
  • Ensure that all procedures are fully adhered to
  • Ensure that changes are notified to clients within correct compliance time frames
